In June 2024, Amicus Curiae (‘AC’), in collaboration with North South Consultancy, proudly launched the Amicus Curiae Legal Aid Centre (‘ACLAC’), marking a significant step forward in the mission to make justice more accessible for all.

Supported by a dedicated team of volunteer lawyers, pupils-in-chambers, and interns from Messrs Manjit Singh Sachdev, Mohammad Radzi & Partners, the Centre offers free legal information to individuals who may otherwise have limited access to legal assistance. The team’s combined experience ensures that the public receives guidance that is both practical and reliable.

ACLAC covers a broad range of legal matters, including contractual disputes, land and property issues, matrimonial and family matters, negligence claims, employment and labour concerns, arrest and detention cases, and bankruptcy and insolvency. This wide scope enables the Centre to assist individuals facing diverse legal challenges.

While ACLAC does not provide legal representation, it plays a vital role in educating and empowering the public to understand their rights, make informed decisions, and navigate their available legal options with confidence.
