In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (‘Act’) and its regulations (inclusive of all its amendments from time to time), this Privacy Policy Notice (‘Notice’) is issued to all the North South Consultancy (hereinafter referred to as ‘NSC’, ‘We’, ‘Our’ or ‘Us’)’s valued clients and / or prospective clients.

This Notice serves to inform you of your rights with regards to your personal data that has been and / or will be, collected and processed by us.

• Any other relevant information required by NSC.

Collection of Personal Data

We have collected and will collect your personal data to be processed by us and / or on your behalf in the course of your current and / or prospective dealings and / or any dealings with NSC. Your personal data enables us to achieve our purpose herein.

Purposes of Collection of Personal Data

NSC will use your personal data for the following purposes including but not limited to: –

• Providing information, products and / or services as requested;
• Sending information, promotions, updates, marketing and advertising materials;
• Organising events, marketing and / or promotional activities;
• Verifying and processing personal particulars and payments;
• Responding to queries, requests and / or complaints;
• Marketing research and statistical analysis to improve services and facilities; and
• Any other purpose in connection with the operations of NSC and / or their objectives / initiatives.

NSC may obtain your personal data from the following sources including but not limited to: –

• NSC’s website;
• Registration Forms;
• Reservation and / or Booking Forms;
• Any correspondences with NSC; and
• Any other sources in connection with the operations of NSC and / or their objectives / initiatives.

Disclosure of Personal Data

NSC may disclose your personal data to their employees, clerks, agents, representatives, third parties and / or nominees or any other person in connection with the operations of NSC and / or their objectives / initiatives and / or to anyone authorized by you.

Security of Personal Data

NSC takes reasonable steps to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, use and / or disclosure. Nevertheless, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure and the security of information transmitted is not guaranteed by NSC.

Data Subject’s Obligations

It is necessary for NSC to collect and to retain your personal data. Therefore, it is also obligatory for you to supply personal data to us in the most accurate manner. If you do not provide us with your personal data, NSC is unable to collect and process your personal data to achieve our purpose herein.

Storage and Retention of Personal Data

NSC will delete, as reasonably possible, or otherwise anonymize any personal data in the event that the personal data is not required for any reasonable business or any legal purposes of NSC and where the personal data is deleted form NSC electronic, manual and other filing systems in accordance with NSC’s internal procedures and / or other agreements.

Changes to Privacy Policy

NSC reserves the right to amend this Notice without prior notice. As such, you are requested to review our Notice from time to time.

Governing Law

The Policy is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. You hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysia Court.

Acknowledgement and Consent

I have read this Notice and understand the reasons for the collection and process of my personal data for the purpose herein and / or the ways in which the data may be used and disclosed. I have been provided with a copy of the Notice and / or have been informed of the matters therein. In the event there is any inaccuracy of my personal data or I wish to update my personal data, I was informed and am aware that I may by express writing inform NSC to correct and / or update my personal data. I have read the above information and by signing and returning a copy of this Notice, I unequivocally and unreservedly agree and consent to the use, processing, disclosure and transfer of my personal data by NSC as described in this Notice. Should there be a need to retract my consent on processing personal data, I shall write a notice to NSC to cease the processing of my personal data.
